24translate Switzerland (part of DigitalTolk Group) is seeking a Business Development Manager to execute our Swiss market strategy and support the next phase of growth. We're building the DACH region's most advanced language services platform, combining 25 years of translation heritage with Nordic digital innovation and market-leading AI.

Your Mission

Drive new business growth in the Swiss market, focusing on winning blue-chip corporate clients and breaking into the public sector. You'll sell our comprehensive portfolio: human translation, AI-enhanced translation, and premium legal translation services (via our Hieronymus brand).

What You'll Do

• Hunt & Win: Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities across Switzerland

• Strategic Prospecting: Build and execute account-based sales strategies targeting financial services, pharma, legal, and public sector

• Solution Selling: Position our hybrid human-AI translation services as the premium choice for quality-conscious organizations

• Consultative Approach: Understand client language challenges and design tailored solutions leveraging our technology platform

• Tender Participation: Work with Bid Management team to respond to Swiss public procurement opportunities (>CHF 100k threshold)

• Partner Ecosystem: Develop strategic partnerships with law firms, consulting firms, and industry associations

What Success Looks Like (Year 1)

• CHF 350k+ in new business ACV won

• 5-10 new active customers of decent size (minimum CHF 50k ACV each)

• CHF 2M+ qualified pipeline built

• Successfully close 2+ public sector opportunities

Your Profile

Must Have:

• 5-8+ years in B2B solution sales, ideally in LSP, SaaS, or professional services

• Proven track record closing CHF 50k-500k ACV deals

• Native or fluent Swiss German + business-level English (French is a strong plus)

• Deep understanding of Swiss corporate culture and public procurement

• Existing network in target verticals (finance, legal, pharma, or public sector)

• Hunter mentality with structured sales methodology (MEDDIC, Challenger, etc.)

Nice to Have:

• Experience selling to Schweizer Bundesverwaltung or cantonal/communal authorities

• Background in translation, localization, or language technology

• Familiarity with ISO standards (9001, 17100, 27001)

• Understanding of AI/ML applications in language services
