Lately we have strengthened our team and expanded to Europe by winning key contracts in the UK and acquiring companies in the German speaking countries. We now have offices in Stockholm, Hamburg and St Gallen (Switzerland) and remote operations in several countries in Asia.
About the Role
We’re seeking a strategic, creative, and hands-on Global Marketing Manager to lead our digital marketing efforts across multiple European markets — with a strong base in our Stockholm office.
You will own end-to-end marketing strategy and execution, working closely with leadership, product, and sales teams to grow brand awareness and generate pipeline across Scandinavia, the DACH region, and the UK. This is a perfect role for someone with 3–5 years of digital marketing experience, preferably from startup environments or marketing agencies, and who is eager to scale high-impact initiatives in a global context.
While there will be support resources available (e.g. SEO experts, web designers, local agencies as needed), we are not looking for a “manager” only profile, we want someone who loves and thrives when being hands on; creating content, crafting messages and orchestrating campaigns, but who can also take a step back, look at the broader picture and work with executive management to craft compelling marketing strategies executing the company strategy. We specifically look for Hyper Island alumni's who are both hands on and strategic.
Responsibilities
- Own and execute end-to-end digital marketing strategies, from brand awareness to lead generation, across multiple international markets
- Develop and implement localized campaigns for Sweden, Germany, the UK, and beyond
- Lead content planning and creation, performance marketing, email automation, and digital campaign management
- Work cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Customer success to align marketing goals with business objectives
- Optimize digital channels and drive growth across paid media, SEO, organic social, and email marketing
- Support Sales with content for physical events
- Use data to test, iterate, and continuously improve campaign performance
- Manage local partners, agencies, or freelancers when needed
- Maintain brand consistency while adapting messaging to different regional audiences
- Act as a marketing representative on-site in Stockholm — collaborating closely with the local team and leadership
Requirements
- 3–5 years of hands-on broad digital marketing experience
- Deep expertise in at least one area (e.g., paid media, SEO, email campaigns, content etc)
- Experience working in a startup/scaleup or marketing agency setting
- You’re both strategic and execution-focused — able to own the vision and deliver results
- Experience running multi-market campaigns, preferably across Europe
- Fluent in English is required; German is a strong plus
- Strong grasp of tools like Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, HubSpot, GA4, CMS platforms
- Excellent communication, planning, and stakeholder management skills
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with creative, innovative learning environments (e.g., Hyper Island-style profiles)
- Previous experience in SaaS, tech, or platform-based businesses
- Background in branding, brand storytelling, or rebranding projects
