About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Accountant with strong experience in QuickBooks, UK accounting standards (IFRS/UK GAAP), and payroll management for UK clients. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, analytical, and capable of handling end-to-end accounting and payroll operations in line with UK regulations.

Key Responsibilities

-Prepare and maintain financial statements in accordance with IFRS and UK GAAP.
- Manage and process monthly payrolls for UK-based employees and contractors.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial data and payroll compliance with UK tax laws.
- Handle PAYE, NI contributions, pensions, and related HMRC submissions.
- Review and verify invoices, expenses, and salary statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable, and receivable using QuickBooks.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external accountants for year-end closing and audits.
- Provide financial analysis, reports, and recommendations as required.

Key Requirements

- Fluency in English (spoken and written).
- Hands-on experience with QuickBooks and UK accounting/payroll systems.
- Solid understanding of IFRS and UK GAAP.
- Experience managing UK payrolls, tax filings, and compliance.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work according to UK business hours.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (ACCA qualification is a plus).
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience.
