About the role:
As Expansion Lead you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing strategies within different areas of the business. A big part of this role is to strengthen our structure and running strategic initiatives and projects. You will also play a vital part in the company's internationalization efforts and expansion to new regions and markets. The mission is to prepare the company for further growth through strategic projects. This will entail setting up the Go-To-Market strategy, including defining the evaluation model determining which countries to expand to and which steps to go through.

• Develop and implement strategic plans for expansion into new markets, territories, and customer segments
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, operations, and product, to develop and execute on expansion plans
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and customers
• Monitor and report on expansion performance metrics, and adjust strategies as needed
• Provide regular updates to senior management on expansion progress, risks, and opportunities

About you:
You are a communicative person with excellent interpersonal skills as well as the ability to build and maintain relationships with partners and stakeholders. You are a problem solver with a structured mindset and analytical skills that are excellent. You thrive in a fast-paced, constantly changing global environment. You have ability to analyse market trends and opportunities and develop and execute go-to-market strategies accordingly.

• A bachelor's or master's degree in relevant area
• Experience with market entry and growth strategies, with launching and scaling businesses in new markets is a big advantage
• Knowledge of global business practices, laws, and regulations, and an understanding of the local market landscape in the target countries
• Experience in working in an international setting, preferably directly involved in expansion projects
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and executing projects on time and within budget
• Excellent written and verbal skills in English, meritorious if you are fluent in one or more languages (French, German, Dutch or Spanish)
