Remote Senior Front-End Engineer (Vue 3 / Nuxt / Capacitor) — Web + Mobile Apps
About DigitalTolk
DigitalTolk is an organization and company that works to make an impact. Our purpose is to give a voice to those who don’t speak the local language; we arrange translators so that patients can get medical treatments in their new country and communicate with doctors. We arrange translators for crime victims so that they can get justice. Our job is to arrange interpreters through our platform for our customers.
Our end customers are hospitals, courts/lawyers, and municipalities who communicate with refugees and other people in need.
Our company purpose is to use technology to make the world a better place. And we’re currently hiring developers to join us on this journey!
We are a company based in Sweden with developers in all parts of the planet!
About the Role
We’re looking for a front-end engineer who doesn’t just “build screens,” but builds products people love using. Someone who cares about performance, architecture, and pixel-perfect design—but also understands that great front-end work is where engineering meets user empathy.
This role is for a developer who is deeply comfortable with Vue 3 and Nuxt, and who can confidently take our web experiences into mobile using Capacitor—including the real-world work of running apps in Xcode and Android Studio emulators, debugging native issues, and successfully shipping apps to the App Store and Google Play.

Implement and manage native plugins (camera, storage, push notifications, deep links, etc.)
Debug platform-specific issues across iOS and Android environments
iOS & Android Tooling + Releases
Work confidently with Xcode, iOS Simulator, and provisioning/certificates when needed
Work with Android Studio, Android Emulator, Gradle builds, and debugging tools
Manage real production release cycles:
