We arrange translators for crime victims so that they can get justice. Our job is to arrange interpreters through our platform for our customers.

Our end customers are hospitals, courts/lawyers, and municipalities who communicate with refugees and other people in need.

Job Description:

  • Develop and maintain Chatwoot applications using Ruby on Rails.
  • Write clean, efficient, and scalable Ruby code.
  • Design and maintain RESTful APIs to integrate with front-end systems.
  • Optimize apps for performance, security, and scalability.
  • Identify and fix bugs and troubleshoot performance issues.
  • Work with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
  • Implement automated testing and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers, designers, and DevOps engineers.
  • Follow development best practices and maintain thorough documentation.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in Ruby and Rails development.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science. A master’s degree is a plus.

Requirements :

  • 3+ years of experience working with Ruby on Rails.
  • Experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs.
  • Strong working knowledge ofPostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Vue.js, etc.).
  • Proficient in Git and version control tools.
  • Understanding of web security best practices.
  • Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable working in Agile environments.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills in a remote setup.
